My Dog Has a Sore In His Mouth?
My dog is about 4 or 5 months old. Before we got him he got bit in the face by another dog and the other dogs tooth broke off in his mouth. Well we got all of that taken care of and the tooth was pulled out of his mouth. but now about a month and half after the tooth incident he still has a sore that almost looks like a blister where the tooth was. It wont heal. He dosent act like it hurts him and it dosent affect his eating, but i dont know if i should take him back to the vet. Or maybe his mouth just healed weird. Or maybe theres something i could give him to help it heal faster. I know sometimes sores in the mouth take longer to heal. Any advice?
Take him to the vet to make sure it's not infected and that he doesn't have an abscess anywhere. They might put him on an antibiotic just to play it safe.
